The Beter Half

I think it is funny how some people make excuses for other's actions. My aunt caters to her grandson constantly. He is 21 years old; and for the fifth time, has started a new job. My parents have spoiled me, but not to this extent. If he decides to quit,  she will believe that is fine. Personally, I think he has no future. He does NOT want to accomplish anything in his life. Why would he? He lives in a nice home, goes as he pleases, and has money on demand. So my question is: "Why does a "sorry" person get life handed to them on a silver plater?" Then, I stop and think. I know that my hard work is worth all of the sleepless nights; so I keep on trucking while he is sleep in bed.

  1. It sucks seeing people sail through life without having to lift a finger. In five, maybe ten, years, you will see that you are in the better situation, because his family's patience will grow thin and he won't have that work ethic to take care of himself. Keep Trucking :)

  2. I have noticed that grandparents have a tendency to cater to their grandchildren. There will come a time in her life that this will bite her in the butt. There will also come a time in his life where he will be forced to grow up. Just keep working hard and your efforts will be rewarded greatly in the end.

  3. Didn't Job ask that question? "Why do the wicked prosper?"
